Watercolor by Winslow Homer - 1883. Homer is my favorite talent from the late 1800's. When I look at his work, I can feel it and when I close my eyes, I can see and smell it. The Newwwman Dated series consists of 19th and 20th Century American Artists whose works are no longer protected by copyright and are in the public domain as well as items that may still be copyrighted but being used in a manner consistent with Fair Use under U.S. copyright law (Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act).
