Description
Jockey's in the paddock preparing for the next race. These are some of the strongest and smartest athletes in sport. There are normally nine races each race day. The time between races is about 30 minutes from gate to wire. So in addition to the physical demand of sitting on the back of a 1 ton live machine, they need to prepare for the next race almost as soon as the previous race is over. Jockeys enter the paddock around 15 minutes to post time to meet the owners and trainers and discuss strategy and intricacies of a particular horses running style.
